Joe
Owner/ Marine Repair Specialist
Joe’s extensive background in the marine industry positions him as a highly experienced and well-respected professional. With 28 years of hands-on experience, he has developed a deep understanding of marine systems, from engines to personal watercraft, which makes him a go-to expert for a wide variety of marine services. His career trajectory demonstrates both technical mastery and leadership abilities, highlighted by his time managing a service shop and parts store at Swan Bay Resort and Marina. Joe graduated from Pennco Technical Institute in 1998 with a degree in Marine Diesel Technology, starting his journey with a strong technical foundation. Joe began his career with Making Waves, which later merged with Desenoir, and later worked at Aqua Mania Inc. and RC Congel Auto and Boat Company as a boat mechanic.
Joe was later subcontracted to do work through Swan Bay Resort and Marina. Joe eventually went on full time with Swan Bay Resort where he worked his way up to Service Manager, where he not only applied his technical skills but also built and led a service shop and parts store team for a decade. Joe is a certified technician for numerous well-known marine brands, including: Mercruiser Stern Drives, Mercury Outboards, Suzuki Outboards, Evinrude Outboards and Sea-Doo and Kawasaki Personal Watercraft.
His longstanding reputation and dedication to high-quality service have helped him build a large, loyal client base, particularly after relocating to the North Country. Joe’s combination of technical skills, leadership experience, and industry certifications has solidified his reputation as an expert in the marine field. His track record of managing operations and maintaining equipment for a variety of marine brands shows his versatility and commitment to the industry.
Rob
Owner/ General Manager
Rob is a highly accomplished Surveillance professional with 14 years of experience in casino security and surveillance operations. He boasts an exceptional performance record and possesses strong administrative and organizational skills, including project management, team building, and staff development.
As a result-oriented and influential leader, Rob has proven his success in both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets. He has spent over four years at Swan Bay Resort and Marina, where he initially joined the service department’s parts office and quickly advanced to manage multiple areas, including the marina, maintenance, housekeeping, and carwash operations.
Rob’s management style is flexible and adaptive, reflecting his belief that different situations require tailored approaches for achieving optimal results. He fosters a fun, teamwork-oriented atmosphere that encourages innovative thinking, while maintaining a shared vision of hard work and open communication. As a member of senior management, he provides strategic input to help drive both short- and long-term goals.
